Five Roads is a beautiful caravan and camping park situated less than a mile outside the small town of Alyth, run by Simon and Sarah Dunn who have camped themselves throughout their lives and spent four years working on campsites before buying Five Roads in November 2016.
Alyth is a pretty little town straddling Alyth Burn with various bridges across making for a picturesque setting. Alyth has a number of supermarkets, a butchers, bakers, four pubs plus a hotel with bar and dinning, two cafes, two takeaways, a newsagent, cycle shop, cycle track, museum, a caravan and camping accessory shop and more. All accessible via a lit pavement on a very gentle incline, ideal for campers frankly.
Five Roads is open all year for static owners and self catering static caravan hire, touring caravans, motorhomes, glamping pod and tents for the hardy. Peter Marshalls farm shop is a short walk from site with an array of seasonal produce available, very nice too. The Blackbird Inn is adjacent with good food available as well as a nice spot for a pint, or two.
The site is easily accessed of the A926 and is extremely well sign posted, brown tourist signs in advance of the site and a large clear sign at the entrance, making us easy to find.
The location provides a huge range of year-round activities from walking, cycling, golf, three courses on our doorstep, sightseeing and shopping at nearby towns and cities through to summer and winter sports having Glenshee and Cairngorm national park within an hour of the site. The site is also within an hour of the east coast with its array of ports, villages and towns to visit and beaches on those sunny days.
We are Calor Gas distributors and hold most sizes in stock up to and including 47kg available to both touring visitors and local users.
